One of my all time favorite places to photograph at is at The Bentley Reserve in San Francisco. It has such a grand elegance to it and when lit nicely it feels like it is glowing from with in. It has perfect condition for some low light photography! Here are a few images of the venue and the last one is one of my favorite images I have taken at there.

2010 started amazingly with a wonderfully beautiful and truly authentic wedding at The Great American Music Hall!! The ceremony was based on Native American Traditions and the party had the Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillets rocking the whole night away. There were tons of photo opportunities all night!! I love the images I got. I hope you do too :-)

I met up with Melanie and Mike just before Sunset over at the Warming Hut near the Golden Gate Bridge, we grabbed a few quicks shots before we lost the sunlight. The lighting was perfect for just enough time to get some great images. Then we were off to Union Square to shoot them in a little more sophisticated attire. It was a great shoot, everyone had a blast.

A big thumbs up to Julie Dy for Melanie’s make up and Scott Smith at MARZIA’s for Melanie’s hairstyles!

Andrew Weeks Photography: A San Francisco Wedding at The City Club

December 16th, 2009

weeksphotography©2009

I photographed my last wedding of the year on the 5th of December. It was a perfect wedding to finish off the 2009 season for me. It was full of wonderful people and a very holiday spirit. The City Club was decked out in beautiful Christmas decorations and the Bride and Groom had huge smiles on their faces all day. Check out this weddings slide show by clicking HERE.

Andrew Weeks Photography: A Sonoma Wedding at Trentadue Winery

November 27th, 2009

Jon and Vanessa contacted me a couple of months ago for an engagement portrait session. After a great shoot, they asked me to shoot their wedding and of course I said ” yes!” They just tied the knot in October up at Tretadue Winery. Trentadue is a fabulous place with everything you could hope for in a winery.

I also had the awesome pleasure of working with Amy from Thumhart Event Consulting, who is the owner and  fabulous to work with. If  you are having a wedding up in wine country, Amy is a must have.

Last month I photographed a wonderful and intimate wedding at Meadowwood up in Napa. Meadowwood was a perfect setting for Brittany and Scott to tie the knot. They said their vows surrounded by tall gorgeous trees and then partied the night away by candlelight. It was a such pleasure to photograph, and I love so many of the photographs I took!! Andrew Weeks Photography: A Chicago Wedding at The University Club

November 7th, 2009

At the begining of October I had the chance to go back to where I first learned photography and first started my photography career years ago. Thats right, I was back in Chicago!! It was so much fun to be back in my hometown and to be shooting Betsy and Brett’s wedding at the University Club. The wedding was a perfect blend of sophistication and pure celebration. Even the rain couldn’t stop this couple from getting some great photographs out in Millenium Park. You have to see these images! Check out their wedding slide show HERE.
