About Andrew Weeks
Andrew Weeks was fortunate to have parents who encouraged his artistic bent: not only did they take him on jaunts to art galleries and museums, they let him creatively crayon the dining room walls.
Eventually a camera landed in his hand and with the first click of the shutter, he was hooked for life. Early in his photographic career, Andrew was fortunate enough to apprentice with some of the best wedding and commercial photographers around. It was under their guidance that Andrew’s passion and raw talent developed into a knack for translating remarkable moments into lush images.
Today, Andrew’s wedding photography is continually enlivened by his active commercial photography practice. His photography has appeared in several fine art galleries as well as in publications such as Brides Magazine, Our Wedding,The Knot, Sacramento Magazine, Shutter Bug, and The Los Angeles Times. In addition to boasting an extensive commercial client list, Andrew’s work has also been singled out for awards from Black Book , the Prix de la Photographie, Paris, and Your World/Roving Eye international competition.
