I photographed my last wedding of the year on the 5th of December. It was a perfect wedding to finish off the 2009 season for me. It was full of wonderful people and a very holiday spirit. The City Club was decked out in beautiful Christmas decorations and the Bride and Groom had huge smiles on their faces all day. Check out this weddings slide show by clicking HERE.

At the begining of October I had the chance to go back to where I first learned photography and first started my photography career years ago. Thats right, I was back in Chicago!! It was so much fun to be back in my hometown and to be shooting Betsy and Brett’s wedding at the University Club. The wedding was a perfect blend of sophistication and pure celebration. Even the rain couldn’t stop this couple from getting some great photographs out in Millenium Park. You have to see these images! Check out their wedding slide show HERE.

A couple of weeks ago I was up in Napa shooting a wedding at the Paradise Ridge Winery. This was such a great wedding for so many reasons. First, I had the pleasure of working with Kelly Cloney from Kelly and Company Events. She was nothing less than awesome; just look at the bride and groom’s smiles all throughout the day and you’ll see how great a job Kelly did in helping them have the wedding of their dreams.

The other reasons were simple: Sarita (Bride) and Toby (Groom)! From the second we met I knew their wedding was going to be a pleasure to photograph. They did not let me down. Click here to see the best of the best slide show!

Kathy Goodman, from Well Rehearsed, is partnering with Neiman Marcus to design a fashion event for MOMS. This event is specifically for Mothers-of-the-Bride & Groom to help them in selecting their rehearsal dinner & wedding day attire. Kathy says she typically finds that moms have such a difficult time finding “just the right dress.” So she wanted to create a special event just for them. The beginning of this month found me at the wonderful Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay photographing a very cozy and intimate wedding between Tom and Carol. I love weddings like this! I always feel so privileged to be allowed into such a close-knit group of people. They had a touching and windy ceremony on the bluff behind the hotel (the view from there rocks) and then a very tasty dinner at the Ritz’s restaurant, Navio.
